Kalokagathia

Kalokagathia is an ancient greek ideal written of by Plato, Xenophon, and Aristotle. It describes a life of harmony between the body, mind ,and spirit, where the cultivation of each is synchronized with each other by the habits and virtues practiced by the individual. We use the concept of Kalokagathia to describe our method of physical practice- one that engages the soul of a person in their exercise and training habits.

In our experiences working in medicine, exercise physiology, and the fitness industry, we often found that people struggle with participation in physical activity due to the boring and cookie-cutter nature of gym culture. We believe that there is a physical discipline for everyone, and helping people find their pursuit and integrate it into their lives is our mission.

Whether is be sport, conventional strength & conditioning, calisthenics, movement practice, free running, combat sport, or something other, we can train you to achieve peak condition in your physical life via the pursuit of what inspires you. From instruction for the gym to training you to exercise with only the implements of nature, we’re with you all the way.

Good Luck,

The Kalokagathians
